FAQ’s

You may find the answer within our frequently asked questions below. If you have any questions you are welcome to contact me directly.

How long are sessions?

Typically sessions are 50 minutes but sometimes by agreement sessions are 60 or 90 minutes.

Do you accept clients with insurance?

Yes, I am registered to work with insurance companies BUPA and WPA.

Do you offer low-cost therapy?

I offer concessionary rates for therapy and encourage clients to discuss what feels manageable for them in terms of fees. I have one very low-cost therapy place, limited to 12 sessions which is available following assessment.

Do you offer in person or online sessions?

I offer face to face sessions from offices based in Clifton, Bristol, as well as online sessions. A mix of online and face to face sessions can be arranged for clients by agreement.

How many sessions do I need?

The number of sessions will vary. This will be agreed between us. Your aims and the initial assessment will help shape the discussion on how many sessions may be needed. If you have a set budget, do discuss with me, so that we can have realistic aims for the therapy. We will also agree the frequency of sessions, sometimes weekly for intense work and also less frequent sessions and breaks should that better suit your needs.

What are your fees?

Fees vary according to the type of work undertaken and the length of the session.

  • Individual sessions £140 per 50 minutes
  • Couple sessions £160 per 60 minutes
  • Supervision and Case consultation by negotiation
  • Low cost fees by negotiation

I am recognised providers for major private health insurance companies, including Bupa and WPA.

What is your cancellation policy?

My terms and conditions state that you are required to give 24 hours notice to cancel any sessions. If sessions are cancelled within this period, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Please note I require payment to be made in advance of any session. If you are funding therapy with insurance, please note, if you cancel a session with less than 24 hours notice or do not attend a session, you will personally be liable for the session fee.
